3 Questions…
We believe. We stay busy.
We believe. Busy is good.
We believe. We do, do, do….
We wonder. How did I get into "do-do"…
We wonder. We observe. We reflect.
Quietly.

Do you blog yet? (If not, comment below, let’s get you started…)
The majority of the client sites we do today are in the blog format. The benefits of the blog format are many, but the one I appreciate the most is the ability to update the site from anywhere there is an Internet connection, even here from the “lovely”
Now, I wanted to share my top three reasons why all small businesses should blog:
1.) Besides the ease of updating, I love the ease of use. No need to have any advanced IT experience; if you know any of the current word processing programs you can blog. You can post graphics and pictures on a blog, but blogs really are a written medium. An important caveat: If you don’t like to write, you might not like blogging. Read the rest of this entry »
We are always striving to provide value to our clients, friends and visitors. We recently have enjoyed the work and insights of Tim Ferris. He focuses his efforts on living the best life you can, what he calls "Lifestyle Design". This article particular hit home with us because we are a digital company. Investment bankers aren’t known for their impulse control.

Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!
Here’s a little holiday fun… Are you a Valentine Einstein? (Answers are in the p.s., just in case.)
1. True or False: In the 1800s, physicians commonly treated “broken-hearted” patients with chocolate.
2. How many heart shaped boxes of chocolate are sold for Valentine’s Day?
A) 65 million B) 36 million C) 42 million
3. How many new conversation heart sayings are introduced each year?
A) 3 B) 5 C) 10
So, how’d you do?
Actually, I only got one of the three right, so Valentine Einstein or not, I’d like to share what we here at Impression Engineers like to think is one of the true meanings of today (and everyday).
"Three keys to more abundant living: caring about others, daring for others, sharing with others." ~William A. Ward~
Everyday should be a day of love, love for ourselves, love for those that are part of our lives, and even love for those we do not know… yet… You just never know, how your life affects all others…
Last Friday, in the process of researching a big project, a client and I decided we needed to interview a CEO of a large foundation to give us a jump-start on our research. Read the rest of this entry »
Somehow, we got through the gate-keeper (his assistant) on the first try and left a short voice mail with our request. Amazingly, the CEO called us back within 10 minutes and gave us over an hour of time, answering all our questions in detail, as well as, generously answering our very last question of “What other questions should we have asked you?”
Most of us might remember the three Rs as reading, ‘riting, and ‘rithmetic—in business, I like to say its, relationships, relationships, relationships… I have spent the last few days writing a grant proposal involving a large request for funds. As I wrote the request for my client, I became acutely aware that it is the relationship between the possible patron and my client that is the vital component to getting the request funded. It is all about relationships, no matter what we are doing. Read the rest of this entry »
